![]() It was a very long walk from the lobby to our hotel room. Only a few minor cons: The front desk staff near to be more attentive at answering the phones. You will pay a premium for everything there, but it’s to be expected at Disney. My daughters came down sick with bad chest congestion during our stay and I was able to go down and pickup some Mucinex and Vicks to make her more comfortable. The gift shop was very nice, had a good selection of souvenirs, and had lots of essentials as well, such as medicine, food and drinks. They have a screen of the bus schedule right where they pick you up. Bus service to the parks was very reliable and we never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a bus. Walking the grounds at night was so relaxing and fun. The lobby and the resort itself were beautiful. The front desk staff were very helpful with any questions we had. They have activities for the little ones as well. The pool, hot tub, arcade, and Simba’s Clubhouse on site give you many options for things to do at the resort, especially with Tropical Storm Nicole coming through right in the middle of our stay. The bell services staff were very helpful with our luggage and made it so much easier on us. We did not have a microwave in the room, so I requested one and it was at my door 5 minutes later. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond when refreshing the room, even taking the time to arrange my daughters stuffed animals on the bed in a cute manner. We saw tons of animals from our balcony everyday, including zebras, giraffes, and ostriches amongst others. We got a savannah view room and it did not disappoint. ![]() My wife and I, plus our 13 year old daughter. This was our families first visit to Disney together. ![]()
